Doubts about bulkheads
An anti-flooding bulkhead is a barrier to be placed in front of the entrances and that through the compression of the gaskets with which it is equipped avoids the flooding of the rooms. Our bulkheads with a single gesture compress, effortlessly, all 3 gaskets present.
Triton bulkheads are custom-made both according to the height of the water that is expected to arrive, and the width and shape of the entrance to be protected.
It is possible to produce bulkheads in almost any size, the main limit is represented by the weight that above certain dimensions becomes unmanageable.
Anti-flood bulkheads are useful whenever you risk the ingress of water into your environments.
For example, when due to the “water bombs” the sewers struggle to function and from the drains not only the water does not flow but even goes back or when you live near waterways that in case of exceptional floods risk not remaining in their riverbed.
Our lower gasket is compressed, during the application of the bulkhead, by 5 mm in the standard version and 10 mm in the version with the increased gaskets.
If the threshold is smooth and the difference in height falls within 3 mm in the first case and 8 mm in the second there are no problems, but if the threshold is not smooth (for example if there are joints of the tiles) or if the difference in height exceeds the limits indicated, a threshold saucer must be applied to ensure the tightness of the bulkhead.
The cost of our bulkheads depends on the measurements, i.e. the height and width as well as the type of assembly that may be necessary. To know the cost of the bulkheads we invite you to fill out the form on the site or call us at 059 9782809.
The durability of the seals our barriers are equipped with is a function of their use and the number of times they have had to retain water.
Being built with a material with shape memory if they are compressed for too long they do not completely return to their original size and it would be better to replace them. In any case, we invite you to check them before and after each use and if you find the need, we invite you to contact us for the replacement.
For the supply and installation of anti-flood bulkheads, tax deductions are provided for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance for the building recovery of buildings with a prevalent residential destination.
The cost of anti-flood bulkheads is far less than the damage water could cause by entering your rooms.
Our anti-flood bulkheads are suitable for all accesses from the doors of the house, to the cellars to the garages to the shop windows and industrial doors.
A global protection for your rooms is obtained with the application of our bulkheads to all accesses and caps to all drains that are located lower (for example floor drains, ventilation holes in kitchens).
